Your tuk tuk driver for Angkor Wat and Siem Reap

One of the hotels I feature on the "links" page at Angkortuktuk.net is Hotel de la Paix which is owned by the same people who own Shinta Mani. Both hotels give back a lot to the community with Shinta Mani having been founded in order to create a free hospitality school for local at-risk youth.

Hotel de la Paix has done again what they always do well when it comes to giving back to the community. They recently held a very successful silent auction to benefit local charities:

"A silent auction of sculptures by the renowned architect behind  Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap raised more than $10,000 for local community projects on an opening night that drew more than 200 guests to the hotel’s trend-setting Arts Lounge.
