Your tuk tuk driver for Angkor Wat and Siem Reap

 I earlier wrote about the silent auction charity event held by Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap. At the time of that writing the preliminary total raised was $10,000. This morning I got an update from Nick Downing, the General Manager of Hotel de la Paix:

"I thought you may like an update. I am pleased to report that we achieved a final result of over $26,000 when the auction closed on 18th July. Thank you to you and everyone for their amazing support. All funds will be directed to both the Shinta Mani Institute of Hospitality and the Hotel de la Paix Sewing Center. Nick Downing General Manager Hotel de la Paix"

That is a significant sum of money and will go a long way in further supporting the great work that both of these Bed Management properties are doing in giving back to the community. Nice job folks!
